I love this little hotel. My husband and I visited for a long weekend, and we both fell in love with it. It's adorable, the rooms are clean, the atmosphere is so cool. And we both agreed that the best part was that everyone working here seems to be so excited and happy to be here. From the front desk staff to the cleaning crew, everyone seemed to truly have their heart in it, and that makes a real difference. So much better than anything you'll find at a chain hotel. I would 100% recommend to anyone coming through this area.
Hi fellow travelers. If you're looking for a romantic nights stay. This hotel has you covered. It was a real treat to stay at The Murray. Truly historical. The Murray created a museum within the hotel. Our beds were comfy and cozy. We had a good night's rest. The hotel, our room, and the beds were all clean. There is a real working antique elevator. Rooms locks are with a real keys. Just a note. There is no parking for the facility. You must park on the street. Or if it's the weekend, in the bank parking lot next door. Chris checked us in and then helped us to our floor, using the old fashion elevator. There is roof access for smoking, although it would be a great picnic area. I did post a photo. There is only coffee. No breakfast. There is a breakfast restaurant and a coffee shop within walking distance.
This is a wonderful old hotel, so much history, when you walk through the door you step back in time. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas and it’s such a great location, everything is in walking distance and the town is so charming. The staff in the hotel were great, a huge standout was Shayla, she made our visit very special and her kindness will never be forgotten. When we walked out we felt like we have a new friend in Livingston. The 2 young ladies who were the house cleaners were also so sweet. We cant wait to go back.
An absolutely lovely hotel. Gorgeously decorated and each room unique. Perfectly located. If you can book a tour with Kaul of the Wild Yellowstone tours, through the hotel, do. Jojo our guide was so friendly, informative and made for a fantastic first trip to Yellowstone. He knew exactly where the wildlife would be and we had a great experience!
Iconic, great little lobby museum thing. Love the rooms and love the bar attached. Had a really nice lady from the front desk take us all over the hotel and give a little history lesson.
The Murray is a beautiful classic hotel with great service and attention to detail. It is centrally located with walking distance to everything in downtown Livingston. We loved how they've kept the original look and feel of the place and its rooms, while clearly having sunk money into upgrades that made us feel comfy and right at home. Highly recommend and will look forward to stopping in again.
The historical feel of the hotel is great. The staff are super friendly and the rooms are beautiful. We brought our two young kids here and the stay was fantastic. The bathroom we had in our room was small, but it was put together very well. Overall I highly recommend this place.
